Note:   Many of these grants cover only a portion of the amount needed for the purchase.  For example, the total to attend the national cheer competition was $10,000 – we chipped in $1,500; the pole vault pits were apx. $16,000 – we picked up $5,000.  FYI: Had we not had the money available for the pits, Skyview may have had to discontinue pole vaulting due to safety concerns.
